Stock Images - Recommendations?
Awhile back I purchased a set of 50K stock images (hamera). I've certainly gotten use out of them but it's certainly time to refresh. Any suggestions? (people, scenery, tech stuff...) Thanks DG.

Stock Images - Getty Images
DG,
Saying hello. This is my first post, so bare with me.
As for stock images, I find Getty Images to be the best source for royalty-free pictures. Their search function really narrows down the size and theme of the image your looking for.

Enjoy!

Dilligaf: You should know better than to post that in the Search Engine Friendly section!
Interactive: welcome to the forums and I'll have a look. Thanks for the feedback.

for el-cheapo images, go to istockphoto.com. They have tons and it is really inexpensive. Only problem is you run the risk of having buttloads of other people using your image as well (case in point my home page)

Reason: Not relevant - first post - just a link

AZ Web, Thanks. Like you said, I actually thought I knew a few of those people. (smiley here) The price is right and there are certainly a bunch there. Works for me for now. Thanks!

Gnome, I went there... pretty cool site. I spent more than a few minutes sifting through the FAQ's and didn't see the policies for using images. I'm sure it has to be right there some-where but I missed it. Thanks

dilligaf - as long as you tell them you are going to use thier image, most of them are more than happy to let you. I've used some stock and make desktops from it, then put it online for people, and they knew that so...just tell them and everything should be cool
