Yahoo site explorer is great but unfortunately there is the problem with the number of them being displayed on the web. They do not go over the 1000th one.

use google webmaster tool ..it will show you all BL of your site .it also shows internal pages BLs ..so don`t panic ..
if your site is ranking on good position then no need to look at BLs..

Google is shifting toward on page optimization, so I think by having a lot of backlinks won't solve all your problems with rankings. Try to check the HTML errors on your pages and improve your content.
