Who was the first PPC Search Engine?
Hi All,

Do you know who was the first PPC search engine and when the PPC started?

First PPC Search Engine was- goto.com (now overture) and it started from the February 1998.....

yes I remember the good old days of goto.com...those were much simpler times.

Overture was/is good, Panama is better but it still does not come close to Adwords.

The first pay per click model is Goto (formerly Overture , now it is Yahoo Search Marketing), that time , first model, it use only bidding price for position as one factor, now there are many factors combine into quality score.
