help with this site ranking better with google

Hi,

I am wondering if someone can help me get this coldfusion developed Content Management System site ranking better.
http://www.tintprofessor.com.au

With yahoo I seem to be ranking fine. Top 10 most keywords.

Problems I have though are with google. I am restricted by a few things. I have absolutely no access to the server so can not make any changes to the install modules or even create individual html pages. I would love to try removing the parameter variables from the page strings but I have no access.

I have created several individual keyword rich landing pages but these do not seem to be ranking at all either. I probably will need to get more links in to these pages but as they are dynamic pages this could also be part of the problem too. I have already got most of the local industry related sites linked into the main page.

The only thing that has seemed to work is basically top loading the index page with content which I dont think is that great an idea but for yahoo it seems to have worked and with google for 'Melbourne' local location searches it has worked.

It is just frustrating because some of the competition sites have hardly any relevant content and less incoming links but they do much better than ours in the Australian google.

Would love to hear some/any suggestions.

Without access to the server it makes it tough, I certainly approve of a var rewrite and if they will not allow you to do it, then lay out the steps so that their techs can do it. Landing pages are NOT the way to go.

I would say to the client, look either you want me ot rank your website or you dont, but if you do, I need some access!

Yes unfortunately it is not the client stopping me. It is the site creator/hosting company. They tell me that it is due to content that cant get better results not the way the site is structured and tell me to use more keyword enriched landing pages.

I was hoping to not go down the path of redesigning the site at the moment just because of time constraints.

Do you have access to the Custom Tags folder? If so, there are tags available that can rewrite/redirect/remove variable inputs from the url string. I use them all the time for our client sites, and it works wonders....

I've got access to zip all. They have a Content Management System set up for this site and the hosts wont allow any access to anything.

It sounds like if they dont allow any access I do have to look elsewhere. I just didnt want to go down this path just yet again due to the time constraints I talked about before.
